Figure 2.2 is a bar chart indicating the percentages of youths aged 12 to 17 reporting that they personally knew adults who were substance users. The chart indicates that 28.8 percent of youths personally knew adults who used marijuana, 89.1 percent knew adults who used cigarettes, 87.4 percent knew adults who used alcohol, and 45.1 percent knew adults who got drunk weekly.
